Indo - Sri Lanka Artist Exchange Program 2019
Indo Sri Lanka Artist Exchange program is a concept of renowned Indonesian Artist Antonious Kho and Sri Lankan Artist Chathuranga Biyagama as a project to develop the Contemporary Art opportunities between the two countries.
The idea of this project is to collaborate five (05) leading Indonesian artists head by renowned Indonesian international artist Antonious Kho with four (04) Sri Lankan upcoming artists lead by Sri Lankan International Artist Chathuranga Biyagama.
This program is organizing as a joint project between Indonesia and Sri Lanka to develop the Contemporary art activities between the two countries. Antonious Kho and Chathuranga Biyagama from Sri Lanka organized this program as a project to develop Artistic and cultural collaborations between Indonesia and Sri Lanka. Gallery Four Life (Pvt) Ltd, The Lionel Wendt Art Gallery, Sri Lanka and The Arma Museum, Bali, Indonesia collaborates together in this wonderful Art project without any government aid or funding but only by the contributions of the participant artists.
At the first stage of this program, five (05) Indonesian Artists Head by Mr. Antonious Kho will visit Sri Lanka with their art works and perform a group art exhibition with the participation of the five Sri Lankan Artists lead by Chathuranga Biyagama at Lionel Wendt Gallery, Colombo 7, Sri Lanka from 28th January 2019 to 2nd February 2019.
In the Second stage of this program, the relevant five (05) Sri Lankan Artists will visit Indonesia with their Art works and perform a group art exhibition with the participation of the five (05) Indonesian artists who have exhibited in Sri Lanka. The Indonesian exhibition is scheduled from 28th February 2019 to 2nd March 2019 at Arma Museum, Ubud, Bali, Indonesia.
